Our aim is to improve women's equality in society.
Our work includes improving female representation at work, in polictics, in public appointments and on company boards, tackling violence against women and girls, and engaging with women to strengthen their voice in government.The government is committed to breaking down the remaining barriers to gender equality and will act as a catalyst and advocate for change, working with businesses, the voluntary sector and wider civil society to create equal opportunities.
